Sorting mechanical faults from the rest

A terminal that stops looks the same from the branch whatever the cause. From the operations desk it does not: an application hang, a lost connection and a jammed dispenser are three different problems, and only one of them needs a van. Making that distinction at the first diagnosis is what keeps machines out of the queue for a visit.

How much downtime never needs a call-out

Not every outage needs a technician. Application hangs, communication errors and a good share of dispenser alerts recover remotely within minutes, while hardware faults need a visit and a spare part. Telling the two apart at the first diagnosis is what stops a terminal sitting idle for half a day waiting for an intervention it never needed. It is one of the questions branches ask us most often: cleared without a visit.

Rolling out updates without emptying a branch

Push an update to every terminal at once and a branch can lose all its machines simultaneously, usually at the busiest hour. Batched rollout inside an agreed window, with verification after each batch, means the fleet finishes the day with the availability it started with.
